1 - Do NOT tap the Knock Sensor, the Subaru ECU can't share the signal. Some people reported the temp reading is decreased by 20 o C if set to OPEN. This was not the case with my EMU. Perhaps it's been fixed in new versions.

The factory Mass Air Flow sensor is used as the load input calibration for the AEM EMS. Due to the substantial increase in power by removing the MAF sensor, AEM recommends using a map sensor for speed density measurement. These cars did not come with a MAP sensor. We recommend using a 3.5 bar map sensor from AEM.
